I've been waiting for almost a year now. I bought my first iPhone back in August 2007, knowing that it wouldn't be the cat's meow: no 3G abilities, wimpy digital camera, sky-high prices. So Apple fucked me and evey other early adopter by reducing the prices later. Big deal. I'm a fucking designer, and I need to be the first of the first with the best of the best. I can afford it along with my MacBook Air, and when Adobe CS4 comes out I can afford that too.
As for my new iPhone 3G, it fucking rocks. The AT & T salesman said I could keep my current, old iPhone even though it won't be on my calling plan like my 3G phone. But my dad says that he'll take it and use it because it's perfectly new. New? The thing's a relic already, and is a piece of crap compared to my new 3G iPhone. I told dad he can take my iTarded old phone because I have a brand new iPhone that is the 3Gesus Christ of phones.
Even though my 1st iPhone had a nice plastic sleeve to protect it, I don't think I'll reuse it. I'm willing to pony up the $29.99 for a brand new sleeve because my old one is kind of scuffed up. Plus, I deserve a new sleeve for my new iPhone. It's like that summer wedding you get invited to, and you need a new outfit to impress everyone, so you hit Kenneth Cole and buy some chic duds that even outshine the groom. As far as I see it, my iPhone's my bride and I'm going to baby this bitch with a brand new dress.
